Our Story

Your Partner in Progress

Nationwide Energy Partners (NEP) is an innovative energy solutions company. We partner with property developers, owners, and managers who demand a better energy service experience for their multifamily properties. To accomplish our goals, we are committed to providing transparency and transformation to achieve energy efficiencies, cost savings, and resident satisfaction.

Built on a Multifamily Foundation and Grown with Energy Expertise

Nationwide Energy Partners was founded in 1999 in Columbus, Ohio by the Founder and CEO of Lifestyle Communities (LC), a lifestyle brand and multifamily developer focused on creating a world where communities become the catalyst for connection. As the Energy Solutions division of LC, NEP quickly expanded across Central Ohio, throughout the Midwest, and beyond. NEP’s proprietary approach serves as a better alternative than traditional host utility or fee-based submetering models. As the fastest-growing energy solutions company in the Midwest, NEP has more than $52 million in capital invested in our partner communities.
