Our Story

Your Partner in Progress

For 25 years, Nationwide Energy Partners (NEP) has partnered with property developers, owners, and managers who demand a better energy service experience for their multifamily properties. We are committed to providing transparency and transformation to achieve your energy efficiency, cost savings, and resident satisfaction goals.

Built on a Multifamily Foundation, Grown with Energy Expertise

NEP was started in 1999 in Columbus, Ohio, by the founder and CEO of Lifestyle Communities (LC), a multifamily developer focused on creating a lifestyle brand where communities become the catalyst for connection. As the Energy Solutions division of LC, NEP quickly expanded across Central Ohio, throughout the Midwest, and beyond. NEP’s approach is superior to traditional host utility or fee-based submetering models. As the fastest-growing energy solutions company in the Midwest, NEP has more than $55 million in capital invested in our partner communities.
