Energize Columbus' 2016

Nationwide Energy Partners commences Energize Columbus’ 2016 charitable event schedule.

Energize Columbus, the NEP-sponsored community action initiative, started 2016 with a charitable pancake breakfast. The organization, made up exclusively of NEP employees, provides our hard-working teams with opportunities to give back to the Columbus community.

This most recent charitable initiative was a supply drive to collect much-needed resources  for the Ronald McDonald House in Columbus, which provides a “home-away-from-home” for the families of children at Nationwide Children’s Hospital to rest, eat a home-cooked meal and recuperate while their child is undergoing treatment at the hospital next door.

In addition to collecting items at the office, members of Energize Columbus also organized an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast, held on Thursday, February 11, to raise money for additional supplies. The organization raised $300 in proceeds from the breakfast and delivered a carload of supplies to the Columbus Ronald McDonald House. This is the first of several charitable events Energize Columbus will be organizing in 2016.
