Nationwide Energy Partners (NEP) Expands Partnership with Portrait Homes
Nationwide Energy Partners, Ltd., a Columbus-based provider of utility solutions for real estate developers and property owners, today announced the start of construction from a recent agreement with Portrait Homes – Ohio LLC. NEP will provide a private electric infrastructure system, electric and water submetering services, and natural gas installations for Portrait Homes’ new Gahanna Grove condominium community in northeast Columbus, Ohio. NEP is currently serving communities throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
Pasquinelli and Portrait Homes was founded in 1956 and has grown into one of the nation’s largest, most trusted, single family and multifamily community builders. They have built and developed more than 20,000 homes. Over the last 15 years, the company has expanded nationally under the name Portrait Homes to North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Indiana, Georgia, and Ohio.
According to Steve Barnard, Company Manager of Portrait Homes – Ohio, "We chose NEP to provide electric infrastructure, as well as the electric and water submetering for our Gahanna Grove condominium development because we needed prompt and timely installation, as well as help in meeting and coordinating with other infrastructure suppliers – including the gas company, telephone, and cable providers. The NEP system encourages conservation (with individual metering), sets up a fairer system of paying the sewer and water bills (minimizing friction between homeowners), and provides a revenue source to our Homeowners Association with the recapture of the infrastructure fee and reduced rates due to bulk buying.
